Dr. Peter T. Keo

CEO, Rapid Research Evaluation

Dr. Peter T. Keo is the son of Cambodian genocide survivors. His parents lost every member of their immediate families to this human tragedy – mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, spouses, and children from previous marriages. Their loss inspires him to advocate for historically disenfranchised populations, especially from the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.

He is the Chairman & CEO of Rapid Research Evaluation – the first minority-owned rapid evaluation firm in the United States. He is a respected business leader, strategic thinker, researcher, evaluator, and published scholar. He holds a doctorate from Columbia University and graduate degrees from Harvard University and The University of Chicago. He also holds a professional certification in impact evaluation from the MITx.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Dr. Keo has held executive, leadership, research, and academic appointments for Stanford University School of Medicine, The University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University, Columbia University, New York University, The University of Cambodia, and other notable institutions in the US and ASEAN. He was also the Global Advisor for Leopard Capital Venture Capital.

He is also the author of over 100 peer-reviewed academic research articles, monographs, articles, blogs, and reports, in addition to two books: Compassion NOW! (2022) and Critical Humanity: Embodying Actionable Leadership in an Age of Compassion and Empathy (2021).

Most importantly, he is the father to beautiful Kannon and Keala.
