Shawn V. Branch is the CEO/Founder of SVBranches, Inc. There, he helps top level executives and independent consultants use their time more wisely and maximize their work and impact.
In 2007, after 20 years of growing the top brands in the fashion retail space, Shawn made the transition to the education sector and became the executive assistant to then-Chancellor for the District of Columbia Public Schools, Michelle Rhee. In 2011, Shawn relocated to Sacramento, CA with Michelle Rhee to start StudentsFirst, a bi-partisan national advocacy organization working to put the laws and policies in place to ensure every child receives a high-quality education. After a few years with StudentsFirst, Shawn relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 2014 where he was the Director of Operations for Insight Education Group for three years.
A native of Baltimore, Md, Shawn graduated from Baltimore City Public Schools. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Management from Morgan State University. When Shawn is not empowering his clients professionally, he takes time to enjoy the small, yet beautiful wonders of life, which for him include entertaining good friends and family, traveling across the globe and getting cozy with a good book!
