Daryl McAdoo
Chief Network Officer
Daryl McAdoo, Ph.D., is a passionate and proven leader, educator, and social entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience developing and executing innovative strategies that support improved educational and life trajectories for underserved populations. Dr. McAdoo holds a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University, an M.A. in Education from Washington University in St. Louis, a M.B.A. with certification in Marketing from University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, and a Ph.D. from UCLA in Higher Education & Organizational Change. In previous roles, Dr. McAdoo has supported the scaling and management of impact initiatives serving low income and communities of color, including acting as the Managing Director of Impact for City Year Los Angeles and the Director of Strategic Partnership and Advocacy for The Bail Project. Dr. McAdoo has also founded and championed a number of community impact initiatives, including Preclarus Mastery Academy, an urban charter middle school that operated in St. Louis, MO, where he was the founding Head of School and Executive Director during the school’s startup phase. Currently, Dr. McAdoo is excited to be able to support the incredible work being spearheaded by EdLoC, and its powerhouse national network of leaders, as its Chief Network Officer.
