Nakeyshia Kendall Williams
Founder & CEO, MindCatcher
Overview:
MindCatcher elevates the thought leadership of those who are often unheard in education reform, youth and site leaders of color. In March 2022, MindCatcher will expand Collective Support to engage 12 systems, school and after-school site leaders of color who have decision-making authority and serve primarily youth of color in an 11-month cohort experience. Participants will: 1) engage in social emotional learning (SEL), specifically cultivating awareness of how their core values impact their actions; 2) design and document strategies addressing a focus question impacting their ability to create generative learning environments for youth, while supporting their leadership and social emotional growth, in a Mindset playbook; and 3) receive support and coaching while implementing their strategies within an affinity-based community.
