Sevyn Winshel
Director of Operations & Special Projects
Sevyn Winshel (they/them) is Director of Operations & Special Projects at Education Leaders of Color. Their work focuses on the design and management of programs that support young people of color. They are also co-founder and president of Q+ Collective, a consulting firm built by and for the queer community. Sevyn has experience working on electoral and issue-based campaigns, including the Campaign for Our Shared Future, where they fought to advance educational equity.
Sevyn holds a BA in political philosophy from Wellesley College. They now live in Adams Morgan, DC, where they are a New Leaders Council fellow. Most of their free time is spent with their dogs, Obie and Juno.
