Founder & CEO Davis Smith grew up throughout Latin America, where he saw first-hand the hardship resulting from unequal access to opportunity. He has since dedicated himself to using business as a force for good in order to address the inequality he witnessed during his childhood.

Our team works to inspire as much support as possible for teachers of color and for schools that serve low-income communities and Black, Latino, and Native American students.
In the largest-ever survey centering male teachers of color, thousands of teachers who use DonorsChoose shared their experiences in the classroom.
